Part 2 of 2
In Part two of character movement for Muvizu we’ll look at how easy it is to do a straight-line walk path plus we’ll also consider some important and useful variations of that method. Also, we’ll learn how to deal with obstacles in the character’s walk path. You can make the character walk in a straight line by simply double clicking on the area you would like the character to go to. You can also click on any of the buttons on the movement dial, and the character will perform that action. When the character has reached the end of the movement path, click the stop icon on the timeline. You can reposition the movement by dragging the light blue movement event block to the desired position on the timeline. The ‘Show all’ drop down allows you to view all elements in your animated movie or just the element that has been selected. The “Select All” tool is also helpful. It is usually best to select show all as it gives a complete picture of all the elements in your animation. If your animation is very complex, then you can choose the Show selected option to show just the selected items.
